The FAQ
What do you charge?
I love to keep things simple. I charge £90 per hour that I am at your wedding. No charge for editing and no limits on the number of images. This is great for those wanting to just have a few hours coverage but if you have a full day, I also offer a full day's rate at £599. Both options include an online album, personalised App and access to discounted prices of orders on prints.
Do you Travel?
Yes, I do. I am willing to travel all over the UK. Depending on the distance and whether a stop over is required, there may be some added fees to be agreed before the date.
How long have you been doing this?
I have been taking a wedding photographer for almost two years. Previously I was strictly a corporate photographer. I was then asked by a friend if I would capture their wedding day and I have loved it ever since.
How many photos do we get?
As many as I can get. I will never restrict the quantity of images but I want to make sure you love every single image. If a photo passes my strict criteria, it will be included in your album. Typically you can expect around 100 per hour that I am there.
How do we get our photos?
Once they are ready, I will email you a link to your own gallery located on my website. If you wish, this can be password protected. As part of my service, you will also receive your very own App, allowing you to view the images and share your favourites straight to social media.
Do you retouch photos?
I have a film-esque style that I add to all my images. The colours are slightly subdued and flattering skin tones. I will also apply soft retouching to certain images but is very important to me that the image is still a true reflection of the day.
Whats your turn around time?
You can normally expect to receive your images within 2-3 weeks of your wedding. I also send over quick teasers on the day, typically a few quick edits whilst you enjoy your wedding breakfast.
How do we book you?
Fill in a contact form with a few details of your wedding day. We will then arrange a meet up to go through your day over a tea or coffee to ensure we both know how I can help. It's all very relaxed, we chat about you, your hobbies and the big day. I like to get to know the couple and it helps build up an image in my head of how we can make your images unique to you.
Can you help us with planning?
I would love to. However, it is very important for me that it be YOUR day. I can help guide you and offer advice, but I won't try to convince you to have anything or do anything that you wouldn't want.
How far out do you book?
Years and Years. Some weddings take a few months to organise, others take half a decade. I am happy to check my availability regardless of how much time we have to prepare.
What should we do for an engagement session?
Have fun and relax. I highly recommend that we go to somewhere that's special to you as a couple. Possibly somewhere you went on a date or maybe just somewhere close to your heart.
I hate having my picture taken, can you still get nice images?
In all honesty most of us do hate having our picture taken, I get it. My style is perfect for you. As a candid shooter you will quickly forget I am even there which means you can just have fun and enjoy your day, let me worry about getting the perfect images.
